Other providers also rely on multi-layer mats, but sometimes choose different arrangements. In some systems, the reinforcement layer is located below the heating elements, which can naturally lead to a different heat distribution.

3.2 Grounding: Safety and Balance in One

Safety is essential for products that are in direct contact with the body daily. VITORI® deliberately sets higher standards here than legally required.

Our crystal mats comply with protection class 2 and additionally have an integrated protective conductor that enables safe grounding. This combination offers double protection and the possibility of discharge in case of a fault.

Elvari also uses protection class 2, but without a grounding system.⁵ This is technically permissible but does not offer additional discharge. VITORI® goes a step further here because safety always has priority.
