On February 5th, we had the pleasure of delivering several VITORI® Crystal Mats to the Gräfendorf nursing home. For us, this visit was much more than just a handover. It was a personal moment of exchange, encounter, and mutual appreciation.
The Gräfendorf nursing home is an integral part of the community, offering older people a supervised and safe home. The focus is not only on care and structure but, above all, on humanity, closeness, and respectful interaction. This is exactly where we wanted to start with our donation—with the people who spend their twilight years here.
A Space for Conscious Tranquility
We were particularly impressed by how thoughtfully and dedicatedly the local team arranged the integration of the crystal mats. A separate room was specially set up for the residents, a place of peace, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
This room is consciously designed so that one can switch off there. No through traffic, no rush, but a protected environment where residents can fully concentrate on themselves. Here, they can embrace the warmth of the crystal mats, find peace, and experience a moment just for themselves.
Especially in old age, such conscious breaks gain even more significance. A quiet place, warmth, and time are often precisely the elements that are noticeably beneficial.
Regeneration Knows No Age
At VITORI®, we often talk about how important regeneration is for a stable daily life. This is not about performance enhancement or self-optimization, but about balance. About consciously slowing down. About moments when the body and nervous system can find peace.
These principles apply at every stage of life. That's why it was particularly important to us to make the crystal mats available to the residents as an additional opportunity to enjoy warmth and relaxation.
