VITORI and Eden Reforestation Projects

Eden Reforestation Projects is a non-profit organization that keeps its overhead low, making it one of the most cost-effective reforestation projects on the planet. Its primary goal is to lift people out of extreme poverty and contribute to environmental and climate protection.

The destruction of healthy forest systems causes many different problems. Trees provide habitat for animals, purify water sources, control flooding and erosion, and help replenish the soil with nutrients needed for agriculture. When farmers can't grow anything, their farms fail, and they have no choice but to move to overcrowded cities. Often, they must sell themselves or their families into slavery just to survive.

Eden Reforestation Projects employ the poorest of the poor at fair wages to cultivate, plant, and manage native species forests on a large scale. This multiplies positive socioeconomic and environmental impacts.

We want to support Eden Reforestation Projects in its goal of planting at least 500 million trees annually by 2025, thereby ensuring employment for tens of thousands of people in countries where extreme poverty is rampant.
